MusicDream turns what you hear into music you can read, then helps you learn to play it. Hum it, sing it or play it, and the app writes it down as notes, tab and sheet music. Then play along and see, note by note, how close you are.

Hum to sheet music, notes and guitar tab
Hum, sing or play into the mic and MusicDream writes the tune down as staff notation, guitar tab, note letters, solfège or sargam. Tap any note to nudge or delete it, add suggested chords, and keep it as a song in your songbook.
Find the melody of what you play
Instrument mode listens to a piano, guitar or other instrument and picks out the melody on top, even with chords underneath. If what you played sounds like a classic from the songbook, the app recognises it and opens it for you.
A singing and pitch trainer with real-time scoring
Sing or play along in three views (staff, tab and a rolling note lane) with real-time pitch scoring and a Tune meter that shows whether you are sharp or flat. Echo mode plays a phrase for you to repeat, Duet passes it between two players, and you can loop and slow down any few bars.
Learn to play by ear
Short lessons on a keyboard and staff teach you to find the notes and hear steps and skips, and each ends in a real phrase from a songbook of more than 60 public-domain classics. A daily three-minute ear drill keeps it fresh, and a skill graph notices which intervals trip you up.

Catch a melody the moment you think of it, then export it as MIDI or tab and keep working in your usual tools.

How accurate is it?
It is very good on a clear single melody and less certain on dense recordings or noisy rooms. You can always fix a note by hand.
What is free?
Tapping tunes on the keys, playing and scoring every song in your songbook, all three views, the Tune meter, the daily ear drill, MIDI and tab export, and 25 hum or play-in takes.
What does Premium add?
The full songbook, every lesson, and unlimited takes, saved songs, imports and MusicXML export, as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock.
Can I import a MIDI file or a recording?
Yes. Import MIDI, MusicXML or an audio file, or paste guitar tab or ABC. From a recording with a band behind it, the app can pull out the melody and the chords.
